SHANGHAI, Mar 11, 2014 (Menafn - SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) --India's Tata Motors is in talks with China's Chery Automobile over feasibility of ventures.
Tata Motors will enter China in due course and is likely to cooperate with Chery Automobile.
The Jaguar and the Land Rover have successfully entered Chinese market, but the Tata has not any influence in China. Therefore, Tata Motors attempts to form a partnership with a Chinese automaker to jointly develop auto model platforms and bring the Chery into Indian market.
The partnership with Chery is part of Tata Motors' 2020 Strategy, which includes bringing the QQ, the A1 and the M1 of Chery into Indian market.
